We are pleased to share that Water Center 21 Pahal was actively represented at the talk program titled “Reduce and Eliminate Plastic Pollution in the Water Environment”, organized to commemorate World Environment Day 2025. The event was held on 8th June 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal, and jointly hosted by the Society of Public Health Engineers Nepal (SOPHEN) and Water Forum Nepal (WAFON).
Our Chairperson, Mr. Suman Prasad Sharma, CEO, Mr. Binod Bahadur Karmacharya, Board member, Rajiv Joshi, and Ms. Suja Shrestha participated in the program alongside national experts committed to tackling plastic pollution in water systems.
Mr. Sharma, who also serves as the Chair of WAFON, facilitated an engaging question-and-answer session, promoting insightful dialogue on innovative solutions and policy approaches to reduce plastic waste in aquatic environments.
