We are pleased to share that Water Center 21 Pahal was actively represented at the Research Findings and Dissemination Seminar on the Water Flow Diagram, held on 17th June 2025 in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Organized by the Aquatic Ecology Centre, School of Science, Kathmandu University, the seminar convened researchers, practitioners, and policymakers to explore integrated water resource management through innovative tools such as water flow mapping and analysis.
Our CEO, Mr. Binod Bahadur Karmacharya, and Board Member, Mr. Dinesh Raj Manandhar, participated in the event, contributing to discussions on data-driven planning and climate-resilient water governance.

Key highlights of the seminar included the presentation of the Water Flow Diagram methodology and the How Tough is WASH (HTIW) framework—a tool developed to assess the climate resilience of water and sanitation services. These tools offer valuable insights into the movement, usage, and efficiency of water resources across different sectors.
Their presence reaffirmed Pahal’s commitment to advancing evidence-based solutions for building resilient and sustainable water systems in Nepal.
