Access to safe drinking water is fundamental to the health and academic success of students. In a joint initiative by the Rotary Club of Patan South, Disaster Aid Malaysia and Water Center 21 Pahal, Sky Hydrant water filtration systems have been successfully installed in two public schools—Shree Raghu Secondary School in Dhading and Gyan Marg Secondary School in Gorkha.
This project aims to ensure long-term access to clean and safe drinking water for over 600 students, teachers, and school staff. By reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, the initiative contributes to a healthier learning environment and improved school attendance. Beyond the immediate impact, the project fosters awareness about safe water practices and hygiene among young learners, empowering them to become champions of health and sustainability in their communities.

This effort is a part of our broader mission to promote WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) in schools, especially in rural areas of Nepal. We extend our sincere thanks to our partners, local authorities, and school communities for their active collaboration in making this project a success.
