Strengthening WASH in Health Care Facilities: Water Centre 21 Pahal Engages in National Advocacy Meeting
We are pleased to share that Water Centre 21 Pahal was actively represented at the Review and Monitoring Meeting on Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) in Health Care Facilities (HCFs): Local Advocacy Initiative, held on July 31, 2025, in Kathmandu, Nepal. The event was jointly organized by Eco Concern Pvt. Ltd., the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Society of Public Health Engineers Nepal (SOPHEN).
Our CEO, Mr. Binod Bahadur Karmacharya, participated in the meeting, engaging in meaningful discussions on the implementation of WASH-FIT (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene for Health Facility Improvement Tool), sharing insights from the field, and reflecting on the findings and recommendations for strengthening WASH in healthcare facilities.

The event served as an important platform to bring together stakeholders from government agencies, development partners, civil society, and technical experts to review progress, address challenges, and explore collaborative strategies for ensuring safe, inclusive, and sustainable WASH services in health facilities across Nepal.
