A monitoring visit was conducted on 4 May 2026 at Raghu Secondary School, Dhading, Nepal, by Richard Chan and Judy Chong representing Disaster Aid Malaysia and Rotary Bandar Utama D3300. The visit aimed to assess the progress, functionality, and impact of the Sky Hydrant water filtration system installed at the school to improve access to safe drinking water.

The Rotary Club of Patan South implemented the Sky Hydrant Filter project with support from Water Center 21 Pahal, while Disaster Aid Malaysia generously donated the filtration unit. During the visit, the delegation interacted with school representatives, teachers, students, and local stakeholders to review the system’s operation and overall impact. The visitors expressed satisfaction with the project implementation and provided constructive feedback for its long-term sustainability.

The Sky Hydrant system is currently providing safe drinking water to around 216 students, 15 teachers, and staff members, contributing to a healthier and safer learning environment. The project highlights the importance of collaborative partnerships and sustainable WASH interventions in improving the well-being of rural school communities in Nepal.
